The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is definitely the latest Google Nexus cell phone, and the subsequent to be developed by Samsung. Generally unveiled to be a show off for the latest versions of Google's Android operating-system, the Nexus series has relished a fair level of popularity since the first instalment, the Nexus One.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus offers just about the best obtainable technology in every aspect of its hardware. The display screen is advanced, with Super AMOLED capacitive technology supplying a sensitive and intuitive means of navigating the interface and apps. Additionally it is a serious large display screen, measuring up at 4.65 inches, therefore it outdoes many competing devices for example the Galaxy S2 along with the HTC Sensation. However the most significant feature of your screen ought to be its resolution; at 720x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is definitely the first mobile phone to enhance upon Apple's "retina display" found on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

This really is needless to say great news for people who prefer to look at pictures, watch video clips, play games and browse the net on their own phone. There exists a good amount of available storage space for data files such as these, with both 16 GB and 32 GB version available. The mobile phone does lack a microSD slot, nevertheless this should not prove difficult for the majority of users since the interior storage is probably going to prove ample. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a competent camera phone. Even though it merely has 5 mega-pixels (2592x 1944 resolution) it still has full functionalities you need to take top quality still images and also 1080p HD video. Auto-focus and LED flash are incorporated in conjunction with face detection along with a front facing (1.3 MP) camera for video calls and self face images.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus provides the technical specs to provide really quick internet surfing. 3G coverage enables users to stream data at up to 21 Mbps, employing it the identical level as the Samsung Galaxy S2, that's generally thought of as the benchmark mobile phone in this respect.

As stated, one of the primary roles of Google Nexus mobile phones would be to showcase the new versions of Android and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is no different. The eagerly hoped for version 4, often known as Ice Cream Sandwich helps make its debut about the handset. Many will be surprised by the 5 megapixel, in which the standard for new smartphone definitely seems to be 8 megapixels nowadays, but one are not able to argue with its 1080p HD video capture.

If you are looking for the option to the iPhone 4S, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus could well be my recommendation.

Don't Buy Online Before You Try - Phone Mount Car Critique

While the unit held the phone very well, one of them broke within the first two weeks. The sides would not close properly, and is couldn't hold the phone. I use the dashboard mount, and it's great. The suction cup is better than the one that is on my GPS, so I may order a second one.

It hasn't fallen off since. It sits very prominent from the vent, but it just makes it closer to my fingertips. That's my only real gripe about it and not a deal breaker by any means. Another thing I like about this is that the ball socket joint allows you to use the phone in either portrait or landscape mode which is nice. I found myself having to hold the suction cup up to the car heater to loosen the plastic up so it could suction to the window/mount disc. All in all, great item! This mount is absolutely what I had in mind when I ordered it. I use it in my vent, and it has not damaged it at all. It is interchangeable with another cradle that is a little bit smaller and will grip and hold your phone of G1 size or type. The other items are useful as well but it depends on your own personal preference.

After a third and fourth attempt with both the individual and customer service, I just wrote the loss off. It looks good, but trust me - the quality is terrible. My phone fits in the holder perfect and doesn't feel like it will fall out. I would definitely recommend!

You just have to make sure when you mount it that it's the way you want it because sometimes the weight of the device can make it tip forward but still stays on the mount. It is an inexpensive device, a little more bulky than necessary on the sides of the mount (and why would you want that if you have a sleek phone"). Mostly does what it is supposed to and is cheap, which is what I was going for being skeptical as to whether it would fit correctly.

Overall, it's very good quality. At this price, I hoped I was getting a deal on a mount for my Samsung Droid Charge, but the left arm completely blocks the USB so you cannot use a car charger with this mount. I know there is a HTC Evo dock designed for the HTC Evo but there are two problems with it, one it only works for the Evo itself and no other phones and two it will not work if your Evo has a case on it. I purchased this one, now I can leave my Otterbox defender case on and it will still fit in the mount, plus if someone else happens to be driving my car they can use the mount for their phone as well.

It fits the Droid perfect, leaves space for power cord and exterior jack so I can place it on the holder and hear music and talk through the speakers. Kid loves it too as we can drive with it swiveled into the widescreen/horizontal position and watch movies with the speakers plugged into the car system. Product arrived when expected and is an awesome deal for the price. As a bonus, using the dashboard mount, now I can use my suction cup mount for my iPod and the vent mount for my phone.
