When you ask most people about updating Android, they may say it's fine the way it is. Since the beginning, Google's Android has been the standard in most experts' minds. Google is coming up with more impressive versions of Android on a regular basis. Keep in mind, the customizations of Android, are one of it's finest qualities hence giving you the freedom to a broad range of creative input. On Dec. 2nd, 2012, at a developer's seminar, groups of coders got together to talk about how they could fundamentally evolve Android programming. Remember, that you are dealing with more constraints, beyond the software itself.

It is not About the Hardware Either

When you look to purchase an Android phone, most of the time you will check out the performance of the phone. The CPU, RAM memory, mega-pixel on the camera lens all make up the quality of the device. That's all well and good, but hardware isn't doing the job by itself. You must have the incredible software OS to power the apps and reach the full potential of the phone's ability.

It is the Combination of Hardware and Software

For example, let's take a look at the iPhone. The iPhone not only comes with terrific software but also high performing, tailored hardware. One of the reasons why Apple does not receive third party hardware or supply its software to hardware manufacturers is because of Apple's high performance combo. The winning performance is not in its hardware or software individually. It is the blend that makes it so sought-after. When looking at all the phones on the market today that are operating on Android, there are some that will make you decide not to own a phone. For the most part though, mobile phones improve our lives immensely.

Android Should Have Set Standards for Hardware and Software

A uniform standard for the hardware that is to be used for Android phones should be established. This will guarantee that the quality of services and the consumer experience of Android users will not dip below a reliable level. While Google does not manage to compete with Apple in hardware manufacturing, they can instruct their affiliates like Samsung, HTC, etc, not to release smart phones that do not meet a certain pre-determined level. There by ensuring the software development will also stay high. You can see the impact this is going to have on Android OS and apps development in your Android training classes.
