There are thousands and thousands of mobile phones being purchased every day and this has lead people to disposing of their old mobiles in a different way. Do you know that even when you change to a more modern model, you do not have to just let your old mobile phone sit around gathering dust when you can actually get a lot more from it by selling it!

There are a lot of other people who are realizing that they can actually sell these old mobiles to those who resell used ones but of course, the amount of money you get will depend on the state of your unit or what type it is. There are few things that you should expect when you go through the whole process of selling your old mobile phone and here are some of those!

The usual process is that resellers will base the money you will be getting on the type of mobile phone you have therefore, having a more latest model will probably get more money You need to have at least a 3G enabled model or even a used 4G enabled phone if you want to get at least a higher price on your used phone since 4G is the latest in most new mobile models nowadays. If you want to really get a lot of money for your used phone you have to check whether it has scrapes or some minor damages and make sure that the condition that the phone is in is still acceptable when you take it to your reseller. It is really the condition of your phone that will set the price tag for it because if you attract a buyer for it, then you will earn the money! The state of your used unit will be the big deciding factor if somebody wants to purchase it and of course, when it is turned on, will it work with 100% capacity?

Make sure that your phone really is working and don't just rely on the fact that it turns on because there are some phones that are quite unpredictable because it shuts off after a few hours and you cannot expect people to purchase that type of phone.Check for scratches on the LCD or the cover as well as have it thoroughly checked which includes checking the batteries as well because you will earn enough if you have a phone that's really reliable and working still.Try to see though if you can remove scratches on the phone as most of the time they usually rub out and of course, check to see the batteries and if it can still charge because a simple fault in this area will definitely negate any sale made in the future. Check your phone's charger and charging capacity if it is still working because at the end of the day, we all know that nobody is going to be buying a phone with a bad battery!

You also have to check whether your screen is working because who would want to buy a phone with a busted LCD and if there are marks on your screen, try to rub it off as well so that your phone will have a clear face and presents a clear picture. If your old mobile phone has a camera, you have to also check it out whether it functions or not because if you have a defective camera on your phone, then there might be no point in selling it at all. You can always find spare parts in some specialty stores and if it does not cost you much to repair your phone so that it qualifies to sell than you can go ahead and have it fixed! You can have your old phone sold, you just have to find the right buyer.
