Is .Mobi Dental Website "a Must Have" or "Just a Frivolous" for a Dental Practitioner?

Our world has grown smaller thanks to the Internet, and now that we have mobile smartphones, as well as totally wireless Internet it grows even smaller day-by-day. Not only do we have mobile mobile phones, but today we even have what's known as "Web phones, and there is even a designation for domain names that are meant for use on those called a .mobi. They are called thus because they are incredibly but very specifically designed for those smaller screens that such smartphones feature.

So, now we not only have smartphones, but smart dentists who have wised up to this phenomenon, and understand that the small fingers of children have learned how to type very quickly on those teeny keyboards, and therefore are designing websites that can be entered into easily with a .mobi extension.

Your .mobi dental web site will definitely appeal to children if you hold contests at the site for a bike or any number of things that might appeal to children. Your contest might be one that is dental, for instance. A child may have to keep a diary of how often they brush, perhaps. For older children you might hold a contest based on their writing 5 different reasons why brushing after meals is important? Another example may be why it's important to see a dentist regularly?

A child's mobile dental site might include any number of games that can be played using a webphone. By having a game on your site, word of mouth alone from one child to another will bring children to your site and get them very interested in the fact that you provide children's dentistry.

Another option would be to create a children's mobile site built after a construction website. Most children like all kinds of construction equipment. Your construction site may include a means of making a mobile online dental appointment from there.

Using the smart phone again, children once more are very capable of making their own appointments, if you provide the means to do so. Even younger children barely over the age of 6 have been known to be able to push the correct buttons to do this, with a parent's supervision, of course.

Dental practitioners who specialize in children dentistry find that having children into their care the younger the better because dental care cannot begin too soon. Today mothers even know that they should clean their baby's gums due to this fact. Also, as soon as even baby teeth make their appearance, they need to be cleaned regularly just as adult teeth do.

The answer to the question above is that it is not even remotely a frivolous idea to have a .mobi dental website, but in actuality is a definitely "must have" for any dental practitioner contemplating treating children. The parents will thank you and your practice will thank you for it.
