The Motorola Bionic is one of the hottest newly anticipated Android smart phones to hit Verizon, so getting a leg up on the games that will be available for it means making the most of your downtime while you're out and about. Check out this list of great games available for the Motorola Bionic and don't blame us if you end up wasting more time with your smart phone than you ended up saving.

The Quintessential game that should be on everyone's smart phone no matter the handset you own, Angry Birds is free for Android users. The game features more than 100 levels of bird chunking action, so you can get rid of those nasty swine once and for all. If the standard Angry Birds isn't enough for you, Angry Birds Rio is available as well, though the price on that one fluctuates. Just remember to lightly tuck your phone back into the case instead of chunking it.

Grave Defense is one of the better tower defense games available on the Android market place, with several different iterations being released for the different holidays. There are plenty of units to control and levels to conquer, so if you're a fan of tower defense games, you'll definitely want this one on your phone. There are many different holiday versions to this game but Grave Defense Silver is the starter and basic edition.

Pocket Legends is a 3D MMO designed specifically for Android handsets. It's free to jump in and start playing with your friends, so make sure that battery is fully charged before you head out, cuz if you don't then your phones battery life will always be low. There are different classes that you can play and you can even mix and match them. The more you play around with classes the stronger your character will be. The best part of playing Pocket Legends is the fact that the developers frequently hold contests on Twitter and Facebook for various items within the game. This means even if you enjoy the free game, if you're lucky enough to win items from their various promotions, enjoying Pocket Legends won't cost you a dime as you play.

Gurk is a game very similar to NES styled RPG games. All of the environments are beautifully handcrafted to resemble the pixel environments of yore, and the controls are designed to mimic the controls of your typical dungeon crawl or nethack adventure. You play with a three character party that can traverse through 24 different dungeon levels with more than 44 different items to aid you on your journey. The 8-bit chip tunes are amazing as well, so taking along a set of headphones designed to be accessories is definitely recommended.

There are more games available than the ones discussed here. Be sure to check out other games that are available through the Android Market. Most games are available for free or for a minimal cost, so it's not like you're plunking down hard earned cash on another Call of Duty map pack you'll only play a few times.
