Everywhere you look these days someone is on a cell phone, whether it is in the grocery store, walking, at a restaurant and most especially while driving the car. We are a very talkative nation, and we love our cell phones.

Can you still remember when the first cell phone was launched? I do. I had one for myself, and my friend also had hers. They were the old, clunky bag phones. We lugged them everywhere, and talked to each other as often as we could, and though I hate to admit it, we did use them a lot while driving, just so we could use the phones! We thought to ourselves that we were so in the fad! Observe the cell phones in the market nowadays. A lot has changed with the cell phones, from the clunky ones to what we now have which can perform numerous tasks, with the exception of windows! We wouldn't think of going anywhere without our cell phones. Well, nowadays, it's obvious what dangers lurk around when women go around the city on their own so it is for that purpose that we carry around our cell phones.

It really is dangerous to drive with one hand on the steering wheel while the other is grasping on a cell phone. A research conducted by the University of Utah revealed that people who are on the phone while driving are similar to people who are drunk and driving. It's a disaster that is waiting around the bend. Cell phone usage in the cars are not one of our advocacies. Some of the states have intentions of making a law that forbids handling a cell phone while driving with no exclusions. Still, people will continue to handle their cell phones every time they are in their cars until the day comes that they will not be able to do that anymore because the law says so. Nevertheless, a hand's free device is a better option for handling your cell phone and you will be able to maneuver your car with your two hands. The California Senate Bill 1613 became effective last July 1, 2008. It states that talking on the cell phone while behind the wheel is against the law unless a hands free device is used. The bill prohibits driving and talking on the phone at the same time unless you have a hand's free gadget attached to your cell phone.

My husband who spends an incredible amount of time working on the computer will tell you his Blue Tooth Headset is a godsend. Be on the phone and still be able to type on his computer, that is what my husband usually does when he is with a client. He can talk on the phone for extensive hours. It is very difficult to do this holding a cell phone and type at once and is extremely uncomfortable and unhealthy to try to cradle the phone in between the neck and shoulders. To resolve this issue, my husband now continues to use the Blue Tooth Headset that I purchased for him a few years back and it has become a part of his everyday work, he can't live without it!

Nerves in the neck will be constricted once you put a cell phone in the middle of your neck and shoulders. Stinging in the arms, hands, neck and shoulders are the consequences of this that usually leads to headaches. This issue will be resolved by using a device that doesn't require hands to use it and the Blue Tooth Headset is one example that gives comfort to the user. It's manageable and doesn't require cords, it even sounds great. Motorola sells hands free devices that is sure to meet your various needs, in different shapes and designs. It has a clip-on speakerphone that you can put on your visor. In California, you can drive and still talk on the speakerphone with this one. You can forego wearing the wireless headset and you won't be penalized.

Always bear in mind, safety comes first. If you are going to drive, drive carefully and if you do have to use the phone, a hand's free gadget is the one you should use.
