If you are less inclined to technology and find difficulty using a cell phone, the Doro 410gsm might be just what you need. This version is similar to the other elderly friendly cell phones but it also is a little more stylish. Well, for starters this is a flip phone.

The cell phone comes with three colors - red, black and white. It is similar to the other elderly friendly phones from the company albeit its flip phone style. It also weighs a light 99 grams and is slim. It also has a gloss coating making it appear more stylish rather than conventional. You will find that this phone may score high in the aesthetic aspect.

You will find that the alpha numeric pad has extra large buttons that are nicely spaced from each other. They are big making them very comfortable to use. Now, typing no longer puts a strain at your thumbs and at your eyes. If you have visual problems or dexterity problems, you will find that this cell phone is very manageable as well.

The display screen measures around two inches making it a bit smaller but the high pixel count of the screen gives a higher resolution therefore it has no blurring. Those with visual problems might or might not agree with the screen.

This cell phone also has an emergency button located at the back portion of the phone. It works by alerting certain people whenever you press the button. After pressing the button it will alarm then send a pre defined message to 5 people whom you have assigned previously then will continue calling each of them until someone picks up. This cell phone is ideal should you find yourself in trouble or in a crisis situation. You have only until the alarm to stop the alerts.

This phone is also hearing aid compatible and can send and receive text messages. You will find that this phone also has an FM radio. With the Doro 410gsm you can always find yourself up to date with your loved ones.
