A Cool And Economical Choice - Ram Cell Phone Mount Review

One thing I was wondering about prior to purchasing was how the release function operated. The way it works is when you want to put your phone/GPS in the mount; you make sure it's released (by pressing the release button).

I needed a mount to replace the proprietary mount for my GPS, so I could mount my dinc2, and it works. Haven't tried the vent clips, but the window mount sticks well and hasn't fallen off. It is the kind of quality I'd expect from a mount costing three times the price. I purchased this mount to hold my Galaxy S II while I'm driving so that I could make use of the phone's navigation system.

As a result I did not feel comfortable using it for my phone. The suction cup mount works perfectly and has two adjustment points that can be tightened up so your phone position will not move. It holds my iPhone 3 and my son's iPhone 4 with no problem. It's adjustable with easy release.

But I'd rather these small quirks than pay more. I got this for my droid incredible cell phone. This is a good product. The windshield mount is easy to use.

The suction cup mount functions perfectly and it has only fallen off once in several months of use. It holds my Droid 2 in place without it slipping out. If you take your phone in/out of the holder frequently, the spring load mechanism may break - mine broke after approximately 2 months of usage. When things normally break, I give them a 1 star - but given the low price when compared to others, it still deserves credit. Thought other consumers should be aware. Thanks for reading.

I stuck to my windshield, adjusted it and was ready for my phone in about 3 minutes. Unlike the other mounts I tried this one stays put. Now while I review the holding piece, I'll review the connection between the piece and the mounts. I absolutely love how it swivels.

I have a pretty small phone, but it could not adjust to hold it. I had to cut out some coasters and glue them on to the device so that it would hold my phone. I guess for $15, I'm getting what I paid for. I'll keep looking for a better option.

I use the vent mount. My only complaint is that the clips tend to damage/scratch the vents.
