This Is A Dependable Item - Car Cell Phone Mount Critique

It's not difficult but does take some coaxing. It is heavy duty and made of great materials that are obviously of high quality. The phone cannot be charged while in the holder so I had to return the holder and look for something compatible. I didn't get to the point of even setting it up in my car. The build quality of this mount is very impressive for the price! The plastic feels solid, not flimsy, and the suction cup is stronger and larger than the one that came with my Garmin.

The vent mount swivels nicely to allow for a good viewing angle while attached to either the driver's side or passenger's side central vents of my cars. I have not tried the windshield mount. I like the fact that I get both a vent and windshield mount for one low price. I use this every day for both my Droid X and my Zune. This works well for the iPhone 4 in my BMW e46 vent. It's easy to install.

But of course that hasn't happened yet. Got this as a Christmas gift and am very happy. This one doesn't have the problem and I imagine it would work perfectly with any phone. The product is very flexible and the suction cup works great.

I also didn't have any trouble with the volume controls being overlapped. As for the mount itself, it is what it is, cheap and functional.

I even saw my sister eying it with envy. I have a 2004 Acura RSX and I found that only the Windshield attachment works for my car.

It keeps my iPhone still even on my rough country roads and my dirt/rock driveway. Quite frankly, I'm pleased with this product. The one thing that I have a problem with is the clips on the sides of the holding piece. When I use my iPod touch on it, they interfere with the volume buttons, but it doesn't take much tweaking to fix that. I love it and you should buy it. I bought this mount after reviewing many different mounts. I like this product. For the price this is hard to beat. I used this for my phone, which is a Motorola Matrix 4G with the Otterbox Commuter case. The phone fits in just fine, and all ports (audio/USB/mini HDMI/volume buttons) are not hindered by the mount.
