Does The Job - Kuda Cell Phone Mount Critique

It hasn't fallen off and I've had it a few weeks now. I am also able to connect the power cord and charge it while it's in the mount, a must feature.

I use the dashboard mount, and it's great. The suction cup is better than the one that is on my GPS, so I may order a second one. After shopping around a lot, I found this to be the perfect fit for my Droid X. I also found that all Droids are not created equal.

The prongs are in the way if you want to charge your phone while in the mount. You can reposition the phone in the holder for it to fit, however, or flip the phone...it would be nice if they made the prongs removable or adjustable.

You're saving more than enough money on this awesome mount/cradle to get the beanbag too. I spent like $25 for both and that was with shipping. It held my droid phone snugly and was mounted to the windshield at first, but today, the arm that attaches the phone to the windshield broke. I never removed the mount after the time that I purchased it. He is on the road a lot and I want his hands on the steering wheel, not his phone! Exactly what I was looking for!

Others still had weak suction cups that would fall off during the summer when the sun and heat softened the silicone of the suction device. This mount is made VERY WELL! I used the vent mount for most of the way, because it was too sunny to use the windshield mount. The windshield mount is the sturdiest piece of this product so I'm confident that if I need to use it will be alright. The whole mount ended up falling off when I was driving. Since then, I have been using the dashboard/windshield suction mount and everything's fine.

It allows my phone to be plugged in while in the holder. It does allow the phone to vibrate a little when driving but not enough to cause problems.

Again in just 3 months' time it has become apparent that, when sunlight heats up the adhesive and it has the weight of my phone on the mount, the adhesive just doesn't hold. The entire mount and mounting pad has come off my dash once and fallen in the floor.

This one doesn't have the problem and I imagine it would work perfectly with any phone. The product is very flexible and the suction cup works great. I have since found that the microphone on the Evo is on the bottom of the phone, and the position of the feet can block the microphone opening. If you slide the feet to a certain position, you can open the microphone and the voice control works much better. I love it and you should buy it. I bought this mount after reviewing many different mounts.
